# Privacy

A section of the TickerInside API reference, https://tickerinside.com/api/#privacy, with data through 2026-10-16. Contents of the reference, each section and endpoint as a file: https://tickerinside.com/api/sections/index.md. The whole reference as Markdown: https://tickerinside.com/api/index.md

Each request under /api/ (its pages included), to /mcp, to the A2A agent at /a2a, to /feeds/ or to a file for agents (/llms.txt, /llms-full.txt, /AGENTS.md, /skills/, /.claude-plugin/, /.well-known/ and /context7.json) writes one record of thirteen fields to Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine, which also stores its time. The home page and the pages under /etf/, /stock/, /agent/, /etf-ownership/, /etf-flows/, /private-companies/, /diversify/ and /xray/ write one only for an assistant fetching them for a person, a visitor sent by an answer engine, or a program whose Accept header ranks text/markdown above text/html; any other visit writes nothing. A 301 redirect writes none, only the request it leads to. The thirteen fields:

- The endpoint: the file family, mcp, feed, doc (a file for agents or a page as Markdown), page or arrival.
- The ticker, file, page or tool asked for, a tool call's tickers, a computed answer's tickers, for an MCP handshake the name and version the client software gives, and the protocol revision an MCP request names when the server does not know it (32 characters at most).
- The kind of client, read from the User-Agent, with each coding agent, AI assistant, crawler and TickerInside client by name.
- The country Cloudflare assigns.
- The first 120 characters of the User-Agent.
- A caller code: the first 16 hexadecimal characters of a SHA-256 hash of the IP address and the User-Agent, salted with a string that includes the day's date.
- The status.
- The Origin host, never the path.
- The Referer host, never the path.
- Sec-Fetch-Site.
- CF-Worker.
- The network name.
- The MCP client's name and version, the answer engine a visitor came from (domain only), or csv and hit for a computed answer.

The caller code changes every day and cannot follow anyone from one day to the next. No IP address is stored, no cookie is set, and of a tool call's arguments only ticker-shaped values are kept, as of a computed answer's query. A computed answer, weights included, is kept in the edge cache for up to a day under its query. The Worker's own status checks are not recorded, and its Workers request logs are turned off. Records are kept three months and are not sold or shared. Questions: contact@tickerinside.com. Policy: https://tickerinside.com/privacy/
