Terms of service

TickerInside is published by VoidLab (contact@tickerinside.com). These terms apply to the website at tickerinside.com, the JSON API, the files for agents and the MCP server at https://tickerinside.com/mcp, including when Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant calls it for you, and to the packages that read the same files. The publisher, the host and the licences of the data are set out on the legal notice.

The service

TickerInside publishes measurements of what US ETFs hold and how they and US stocks have behaved, each printed with the date of the data behind it. They are computed from the holdings files that issuers and sponsors publish, filings with the SEC, end of day prices and market data. Every page, file and tool only reads: none places an order, moves money or changes anything.

Not investment advice

None of it is investment advice, none of it knows your situation, and none of it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. A past return is not a forecast.

Using the data

TickerInside's own work, the figures it computes, the texts it writes and the way it arranges the data in its pages, files and MCP answers, is published under CC BY 4.0: use it, commercially included, and credit TickerInside with a link to the page or file a figure comes from where the medium allows a link, and by name where it does not. Fund holdings remain the issuers' publications. The holdings history and the ETF flows computed from it have terms of their own: each answer may be used per request, commercial use included, with credit, but not the archive as a whole and not by systematic extraction. The code of the npm and PyPI packages is under the MIT licence each package names. The legal notice sets out each licence in full.

Answers given through an assistant

The figures and their dates come from TickerInside; the wording of an answer is the assistant's. Each answer of the MCP server carries the date of the file it came from and a link to its source, so that a figure can be checked before it is relied on.

Fair use

There is no key, no account and no per-user quota. The current files change once a night, so read each at most once a night rather than polling it, and send a User-Agent that names your program. Do not try to disrupt the service, and do not extract the holdings history or the flows outside their terms.

No warranty

The service is provided as is, with no warranty of accuracy or completeness. Issuer files can be late and prices can be revised; the dates are printed so that you can check rather than believe. A figure you believe is wrong can be reported to the address above: it is checked against its source, and a page found wrong is republished.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, VoidLab is not liable for decisions made on the basis of the data or for losses arising from its use.

Privacy

What a request records, and what it never records, is set out in the privacy policy.

Changes

A change to these terms is listed on What changed, and the terms that apply to a request are the ones on this page on the day it is made. Trademarks and fund names belong to their owners; they are used here only to identify the funds measured.
